Inverness Harrier Selected for European Road Running Championships
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Mhairi Maclennan, a member of Inverness Harriers, on her selection to represent Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the European Road Running Championships in 2025; acknowledges that Maclennan earned her place on the squad after finishing as the top British runner at 2024’s London Marathon; notes that Maclennan is one of two women who will be lining up for the marathon in Belgium next April; congratulates Maclennan once again on this outstanding achievement, and sends its best wishes for success in the race next spring.
