Congratulations to Palacerigg Community Trust

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that Palacerigg Community Trust has signed a lease, and taken ownership of the keys, for the visitor centre in the park; believes that this was only possible through years of hard work by local residents, who formed Palacerigg Community Trust; congratulates all involved in the project and praises the improvements that have already been made to the playpark and walk ways; considers that this will be widely welcomed by the local community, and believes that those who utilise Palacerigg Country Park are grateful to the members of Palacerigg Community Trust, who have retained this community asset for the residents of the local communities near to the Country Park and beyond.
