UHI Inverness Receives EmilyTest GBV Charter Award

That the Parliament congratulates UHI Inverness on receiving the EmilyTest GBV Charter Award; acknowledges that this award is presented to universities and colleges that meet the minimum standards of the Emily Test, which is a framework designed to prevent gender-based violence by addressing the systemic issues that could have saved Emily’s life; understands that UHI Inverness was given this award in recognition of its ongoing efforts to tackle gender-based violence, which have included two years of work to establish practices and training to deliver gender-based violence prevention, intervention and support at the campus; notes that UHI is only the third college in Scotland to achieve this status, and expresses its admiration for all those involved in creating a safer, more support environment for students.
