Recognition of Compassionate Inverclyde Founder’s New Year Honour

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the founder of Compassionate Inverclyde, Alison Bunce, on being awarded a New Year Honour in recognition of her services to the community of Inverclyde; acknowledges the significant impact of Compassionate Inverclyde in providing compassionate care and support in the community through a range of impactful initiatives, including No One Dies Alone and Back Home Boxes; commends Alison’s dedication and leadership in fostering a culture of kindness and support for people facing challenging times; recognises the importance of community-led initiatives in enhancing social wellbeing and cohesion across Scotland, and wishes Alison all the best as Compassionate Inverclyde embarks on a new journey as a standalone charity.
