George and Philip Rigby to Climb the Kelpies for Beatson Cancer Charity
The motion
That the Parliament commends brothers George, 72, and Philip Rigby, 67, originally from Stenhousemuir, who are scaling the inside of Baron, one half of the Kelpies structure in Falkirk, on 21 February 2025, to raise money for Beatson Cancer Charity; congratulates Philip and George for already raising £2,100 for the charity prior to their challenge, and recognises that their efforts are in memory of Philip’s wife of 48 years, Senga, who sadly passed away in September 2024 and who was looked after by Beatson during her final days.
