Congratulating McLaren Packaging on Winning Innovation in Packaging Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates McLaren Packaging, based in Port Glasgow, on winning the Innovation in Packaging award at what it sees as the prestigious Spirits Business Awards 2024; notes that the company was recognised for its paper-based presentation tubes product, which was described by judges as "game-changing" for its innovative vertical perforation design that allows easy separation and recycling of the paper body and metal base; commends the team for its commitment to creating sustainable and recyclable packaging solutions and innovative production processes; acknowledges the company's dedication to environmental goals, design excellence and quality standards, which have all been delivered through its Scotland-based operations, and wishes McLaren Packaging continued success in its efforts to lead the way in sustainable packaging for the spirits industry.
