Ayr's Mercure Hotel Receives a Green Key Eco-certificate

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Mercure Hotel in Ayr on being awarded a Green Key eco-certificate by Keep Scotland Beautiful; understands that the certificate recognises the hotel's efforts on sustainable practices, and assessed a wide range of factors within the operation of the hotel, from energy efficiency to minimising food waste; commends the hardworking staff of the Mercure on being one of just 41 establishments in Scotland to be Green Key certified, and wishes the hotel and its staff every success for the future.
