Vivian Wallace Appointed an MBE
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Vivian Wallace on being appointed an MBE in the New Year Honours list for services to older people in Midlothian; understands that Vivian's project helps older adults through exercise and other initiatives, transforming their physical and mental wellbeing; notes that Vivian works with a collective of 70 volunteers who run weekly activities, including walking football, badminton, pickleball and walking groups; acknowledges her work, which sees roughly 800 people a week involved; commends what it sees as her remarkable commitment to the wellbeing of her community, and thanks her for outstanding contribution.
