Recognition of Long-Serving Care Staff at Bagatelle and Glenfield Care Homes
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the 10 members of staff at Bagatelle and Glenfield care homes in Greenock, who have collectively achieved an outstanding 240 years of service; acknowledges the recognition of their dedication at a recent award ceremony, where they were celebrated by colleagues, families, and the Medical Aid Society, which operates the care homes; commends the exceptional contributions of staff members such as Agnes Morrison, who has served for 42 years, and Josie Hastie, the oldest member of staff at 75 years old, with 18 years of service; notes what it sees as the importance of recognising the commitment and compassion of care staff, and expresses gratitude for the vital role that long-serving care staff play in providing continuity and high-quality care to residents in Greenock and beyond.
