Specsavers Investment at Irvine Branch
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the £25,000 investment by Specsavers Irvine to enhance its on-site laboratory facility at the Rivergate Shopping Centre; acknowledges the addition of state-of-the-art lens creation equipment, which will allow the store to offer same-day glasses service to customers and improve the efficiency of prescription lens production; notes that this expansion has also created a new role within the lab technician team, further supporting local employment; understands that this follows a £350,000 investment in the store last year, demonstrating, it believes, the store's continued commitment to providing top-quality eye health and audiology services to the Irvine community, and commends the efforts of store director, Gordon Simpson, and the lab team, led by Steven Brown, for their dedication to improving customer service and enhancing eye care in the area.
