Congratulating Brodie Hatfield on Winning a Heart Hero Accolade at the British Heart Foundation (BHF) Heart Hero Awards 2024

That the Parliament congratulates Brodie Hatfield on winning a Heart Hero accolade at the British Heart Foundation (BHF) Heart Hero Awards 2024 in recognition of his remarkable efforts in performing emergency CPR at just 14 years old; recognises that Brodie saved the life of a close family member who suffered a cardiac arrest at home, acting quickly and bravely to keep them alive until paramedics arrived; understands that he learned CPR from his science teacher, Mr Breach, at Craigmount High School in Edinburgh, during a training session for his S2 class, and commends Brodie for his bravery and quick action.
