Congratulating Campy Growers in Dundee
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Campy Growers in Dundee for its outstanding work producing food, offering education, training cooking sessions, outdoor activities and more; notes that 2024 saw the Camperdown Country Park based SCIO donate over 1.3 tonnes of food produced on site; understands that since taking over the former nursery in May 2020, as part of Dundee’s Food Growing Strategy, thousands of volunteer hours have contributed to establishing a "vegetarium", a space for growing food that uses organic and ethical principles; acknowledges the ongoing efforts made by Campy Growers via their vegetable stalls, veg boxes and workshops, to reduce carbon omissions, address food insecurity, and to develop educational opportunities, and wishes Campy Growers every success for the 2025 season and with their future activities.
