Ashley McCaig’s Annual Fundraiser for St Andrew's Hospice
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the exceptional fundraising efforts of Ashley McCaig from Newmains, to benefit St Andrew's Hospice; understands that a total of £1,357.86 was raised through her annual Winter Wonderland event, which has become a cherished tradition in the local community; notes that Forsyth of Denny generously contributed £1,000 towards this total, with the remainder of the funds being raised by the local community through their unwavering generosity; commends both Ashley and Forsyth of Denny, as well as all others involved, for their continued support of St Andrew's Hospice, which plays a vital role in delivering specialist palliative care, respite and emotional support to Lanarkshire individuals diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses, and to their families; wishes Ashley all the best with her future fundraising events, and extends its sincere thanks to all involved in this remarkable effort.
