Asda’s Winter Warmer Initiative in Aberdeen Donside
The motion
That Parliament welcomes Asda’s Winter Warmer café scheme, including Kids Eat for £1 café meals and over 60s eat for £1; further welcomes its Chatty Cafés initiative, which aims to address loneliness and isolation amongst older people, and which it understands has operated across Asda's 207 in-store cafes, and believes that the initiative has served millions of customers, including 31,034 meals served at Asda’s Dyce store within the Aberdeen Donside constituency, helping to improve access to healthy and affordable food options and ensuring that the local café is an accessible and popular community asset.
