Congratulations to The Shetland Amenity Trust on Becoming a Living Wage Employer
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates The Shetland Amenity Trust on its recent achievement of becoming a Living Wage employer; acknowledges the Trust's dedication to safeguarding, enhancing and promoting Shetland's rich heritage, ensuring that it is accessible for all to enjoy; commends the Trust for its management of award-winning cultural heritage locations such as the Shetland Museum and Archives and the Old Scatness Broch and Iron Age Village; further commends the Trust’s work to protect and enhance natural heritage, including peatland restoration, and recognises the Trust's ongoing commitment to hosting events and conducting research projects throughout the year, which, it believes, significantly contributes to the cultural, natural and historical preservation of Shetland.
