Avondale Radio SCIO National Lottery Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Avondale Radio SCIO on its award of £15,282 from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; understands that this project will enable the Strathaven-based community radio station to buy equipment, which will help presenters produce higher quality output across all platforms, but will be especially important when the station starts broadcasting on DAB; commends Avondale Radio SCIO on its commitment to giving a voice to the local community through the range of programming by local presenters, and wishes it all the best in the future.
