Celebrating the Dundee Launch of Hiya In There Wee Bairn
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Dundee Contemporary Arts on the publication of Hiya In There Wee Bairn; notes that this book, in Dundonian Scots, encourages parents-to-be to prepare for their new arrival through illustrations, questions, stories, songs and prompts; understands that its production drew on the skills of local artists and the input of the Douglas Community Centre-based Tots Group; acknowledges that the Dundonian edition complements those already online in various languages, including Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese, Polish, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian and Ukrainian, and wishes Dundee Contemporary Arts every success in continuing to support collaborations of this kind.
