National Lottery Funding for The Base
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates The Base on receiving a £6,000 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that this will be used to fund, over one year, the hiring of space for the youth group to serve Danderhall and surrounding villages in Midlothian; further notes that The Base provides a safe space for children to gather and socialise outwith school times; commends the work of The Base, and thanks everyone involved with it for their continued hard work and dedication.
