Ardgowan Distillery’s Success at the World Whisky Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Ardgowan Distillery in Inverkip on winning the prestigious Best in Category award for its Draughtsman Blended Malt at the World Whisky Awards; notes that the distillery also received recognition at the Drambusters Festival, where its GlenAllachie 16-Year-Old Islay Cask was ranked third best whisky by 750 enthusiasts; acknowledges the significant achievement of being recognised among hundreds of whiskies worldwide; further commends Ardgowan Distillery for enhancing Scotland’s global reputation for producing high-quality whisky, and wishes the distillery continued success in the future.
