Organisations across Glasgow Cathcart Benefit from National Lottery Funding

That the Parliament notes the awarding of grants to various community projects aimed at supporting youth, families, and marginalised groups in Glasgow, including Carnwadric WIN Project, which has been awarded a £20,000 grant to establish a new youth club for 12- to 18-year-olds, the Scottish Professional Football League Trust, which has received £20,000 for a one-year project aimed at re-launching the 4-4-2 Reading Challenge, creating opportunities for young people aged 5 to 12 across Scotland to develop a passion for reading alongside an interest in football, Shine Your Light Community, which has been awarded £15,154 to provide food parcels for single-parent families across Glasgow and to run an end-of-year celebration event for members and their families, Glasgow Living Waters Church International, which has received £11,000 to deliver activities that promote integration and improve health and wellbeing for asylum seekers, refugees, and minority ethnic individuals in the local community, and The Healing Hub, which has been granted £10,000 to deliver community events across the south of Glasgow, benefiting residents and fostering local connections, and commends the work of these organisations in supporting vulnerable groups and enhancing community cohesion within Glasgow.
