Beyond Brotherhood Group Launches in Rutherglen
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the launch of the Beyond Brotherhood men’s mental health group, which recently held its first meet-ups at the Tempo Community Centre and Revival Room barbers, both in Rutherglen; notes that the group was set up by personal trainers, Thomas Starmore and Derek Elder, to offer free monthly experiences that combine physical activity and mental resilience activities and aims to create a safe, supportive space for men to come together, share experiences, make community connections, and grow stronger mentally, emotionally and physically; understands that within two weeks of its launch, Beyond Brotherhood already had 50 members, and wishes the group every success for the future.
