Celebrating Queer Memories of Aberdeen
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Four Pillars on organising Queer Memories of Aberdeen at Aberdeen Central Library; notes that the event takes place during LGBT+ History Month and draws on the cultural significance of LGBTQIA+ people’s collective memory, especially ones kept on the margins of majority society; further notes the importance of learning from the historical perspectives of different communities for the present day, and wishes Four Pillars every success in its continuing activities.
