The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kirkcaldy-based theatre company, Stellar Quines, on its successful funding bid to Creative Scotland; notes that Stellar Quines has been awarded £728,677, over a three-year period, to support programming aligned with its vision of being an intersectional feminist theatre company; recognises Stellar Quines 30-year history and its stated focus on programming aimed to enrich the conversation about gender equity in Scotland by creating platforms for women, non-binary people and people from other marginalised genders to be creative, to think critically and to come together; commends its recent move to Kirkcaldy which, it understands, aims to commit to a place-based approach in its work, and wishes everyone involved all the best over the next three years.
