Recognising the £10,000 from the National Lottery's Community Fund to That Place in the Bay, Dalgety Bay, Fife

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the award of £10,000 from the National Lottery's Community Fund to That Place in the Bay, which is a charity based in Dalgety Bay; understands that the community hub offers arts and crafts provision, a café and space for community groups and learning, with the aim of eliminating social isolation and promoting mental wellbeing; notes that the charity also partners with Cafe Inc. to provide free meals during school holidays and facilitate group meetings, including Andy's Man Club; believes that this funding award is recognition of That Place in the Bay's commitment to inclusion; is grateful for all the staff and volunteers who make a difference to people living in the local area, and extends its very best wishes for continued success in the future.
