Congratulations to Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre on Award from the National Lottery Community Fund's Improving Lives Programme
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre on being awarded £190,384 from the National Lottery Community Fund’s Improving Lives programme; recognises what it considers to be the vital work that the organisation does in providing specialist support to survivors of sexual violence across Lanarkshire; acknowledges that this funding will help to enhance its services, helping to ensure that more people can access the support that they need; commends the dedication of the staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to offer crisis support, advocacy and counselling, and wishes Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre continued success in what it sees as its invaluable work to support all survivors and promote a future free from gender-based violence.
