Merkinch Community Shop Receives £9,600 from the National Lottery Community Fund
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Merkinch Community Shop on receiving £9,600 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the funding will be used to deliver a wide range of services to the local community, including a community food bank, community shop, and a drop-in advice and friendship service; further understands that the community shop provides vital support to the local community, delivering food parcels as far as Culloden; commends the dedication of the staff and volunteers, and extends its very best wishes for continued success in the future.
