The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Headway Glasgow on being awarded £117,727 through the National Lottery Community Fund’s Improving Lives programme; notes that Headway is a charity working to improve life after brain injury, by providing vital support and information services; understands that it will use the award to deliver a specialist, holistic advocacy support service for people with acquired brain injuries, and their families; further understands that this will provide face-to-face and remote support to recognise, accommodate and mitigate the complex challenges of acquired brain injury and ensure that the voices of people with this condition are heard and that they are empowered towards self-advocacy, and wishes all of the team at Headway continued success with what it sees as their invaluable work.
