Glasgow Association for Mental Health Receives National Lottery Community Funding

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Glasgow Association for Mental Health (GAMH) on being granted £190,869 from the National Lottery Community Fund’s Improving Lives programme; notes that GAMH is an independent Scottish charity that provides more than 2,000 hours of community based support every week to people in Glasgow; understands that the group will use the funding to run a programme of activities and sessions for young people experiencing poor mental health who are isolated as a result; further understands that the programme will provide a space to help young people improve their mental health, improve their social interactions and better prepare them for adult services should they require them, and wishes all of the team at GAMH continued success with its life-changing work.
