Irvine Royal Academy Participation in the 2025 SP Energy Networks Warriors School Championship

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the pupils of Irvine Royal Academy on their participation in the 2025 SP Energy Networks Warriors School Championship; recognises the tournament’s role in promoting grassroots rugby and providing opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills; applauds the competition’s emphasis on inclusivity and breaking down barriers to participation in sport; commends SP Energy Networks for its continued investment in the Championship and its efforts to integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning with rugby, particularly in promoting opportunities for women and girls in STEM-related careers; acknowledges what it sees as the importance of role models from Glasgow Warriors in inspiring the next generation, and wishes the Irvine Royal Academy team members every success in their matches, starting on 25 March, as they strive to reach the final on 6 May.
