Giffnock's Glasgow Hutcheson's Aloysians Rugby Team Wins League Title Undefeated

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Glasgow Hutchesons' Aloysians (GHA) Rugby Football Club on winning the 2024-25 Men's Arnold Clark National League Division 1 competition; notes that the rugby club, whose ground is based at Braidholm Road in Giffnock, won the championship and secured promotion to the Arnold Clark Premiership after going the entire league season undefeated, with 17 victories and 1 draw; understands that the final fixture of the season on 1 March, and when GHA celebrated the championship win by lifting the League Division 1 trophy, was also the 500th match in the rugby club's history; considers that GHA winning the League Division 1 title undefeated is a very special achievement, and wishes the rugby club every success as it competes in the Premiership next season.
