Tall Ships Quayside Concerts
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the announcement of the Tall Ships Quayside Concerts, due to take place in Aberdeen from 18 to 21 July 2025; notes that the concerts, which are being organised to coincide with the return of the Tall Ships to Aberdeen for the first time in 28 years, will be headlined by Deacon Blue, Ministry of Sound Classical, Tide Lines and Kaiser Chiefs, and take place on a purpose-built, 7,000-capacity venue created at Peterson Seabase on Regent Quay; understands that the Sunday night concert headlined by Tide Lines will be free to attend, as a thank you to the people of Aberdeen for their support of the Tall Ships; believes that these concerts will help to add to the overall spectacle of the Tall Ships event; congratulates Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeen Inspired and Port of Aberdeen for their efforts in bringing this event to the Granite City, and hopes that the concerts are a great success.
