Codfather Named Best Fish and Chip Shop in the Glasgow Region

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Codfather fish and chip shop, in Halfway, on its recent success in the Glasgow round of Scotland’s Business Awards, at which it won the Best Fish and Chip Shop category; understands that the business is much appreciated locally for its cooked-to-order fresh fish, friendly service and innovation, with customers known to travel to the shop from far and wide to sample treats, such as battered pickled onions; notes that Codfather will now compete in the national Scotland’s Business Awards finals, which will be held in Glasgow in November 2025, and wishes the whole team all the best at the finals and for the future.
