Okome Japanese Sushi Restaurant Opens in Bearsden

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates owner, Chris Johnson, of Okome Japanese Sushi Bar, which opened its doors recently at Bearsden Cross; notes that the business plans to employ up to 10 local residents and will provide fresh, affordable and healthy Japanese food; understands that this is the company's 7th branch and that it is looking to expand further; believes that the concept is unique for the area and has been a welcome addition to the dining offering in East Dunbartonshire, and wishes the management every success for the future.
