Mark Wright Awarded Inaugural Recognition Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Mark Wright on receiving a Business Gateway Recognition Award, acknowledging his outstanding support to Lanarkshire business owners; acknowledges that the inaugural Recognition Awards were held at Business Gateway's all-staff conference in Edinburgh on 27 February 2025, which celebrated the exceptional service, commitment, and impact of Business Gateway’s local advisers in assisting entrepreneurs and businesses across Scotland; understands that Business Gateway supports over 50,000 individuals annually, creating 7,000 to 10,000 new businesses each year; thanks Business Gateway for what it sees as its vital role in Scotland’s business ecosystem, and wishes Mark all the best for the future.
