Clydebank Woman Raises Funds for St Margaret of Scotland Hospice and CHAS
The motion
That the Parliament recognises Margaret Campbell for a recent donation of £905 for St Margaret's Hospice; notes that Margaret has been fundraising for the hospice since 1991 and has raised thousands over the years after her brother sadly passed away in 1990; understands that the funds will be used to make a difference to the patients of the hospice and their families; further understands that Margaret continues the fundraising efforts, which includes £7,224 over the past six years for Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS), and celebrates individuals such as Margaret, who have shown dedication and drive in holding tombola’s and raffles in a bid to raise money for these deserving and vital charities.
