NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Teams Recognised at Holyrood Connect Digital Health and Care Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde's Cancer Pathway Management Solution, Patient Pathway Plus, on winning the Industry Collaboration Award category, and the Fracture Liaison Service on winning the Digital Service Transformation category at the recent Holyrood Connect Digital Health and Care Awards; understands that the annual awards focus on digital innovation within Scotland's health, social care and third sector services; further understands that Patient Pathway Plus technology, co-developed by the supplier, Insource, helps to reduce the number of patients with the longest waiting times for treatment and diagnosis; recognises the Fracture Liaison Service application, developed in partnership with eHealth, West of Scotland Innovation Hub, clinical teams and the supplier, Redstar, for what it sees as its significant contribution to addressing the impact of osteoporosis-related fractures in the ageing population, and celebrates the success of the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde teams in integrating advanced technology to ensure that patient care and clinical expertise are at the forefront of their practice.
