Cullen Skink World Championship Title Stays in Cullen
The motion
That the Parliament applauds Lynne Watson on winning the title of Cullen Skink World Champion in the Traditional category at the recent Cullen Skink World Championships, held at the Seafield Arms Hotel in Cullen, in the Banffshire and Buchan Coast constituency; notes that Lynne, a Cullen resident and owner of Lily’s Café, has brought the title home to the birthplace of Scotland’s famous smoked fish soup; recognises the hard work of the organisers and volunteers in delivering an event that celebrates Scotland’s world-class seafood and firmly establishes Cullen as a must-visit destination for food lovers, and wishes Lynne and all involved continued success in showcasing Scotland’s rich culinary heritage.
