Commending Police Scotland Forth Valley Clackmannanshire Schools' Drop-in Sessions

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that two Clackmannanshire school-based police officers are set to hold drop in sessions at the beginning of the 2025 Easter holidays at which pupils of Lornshill, Alva and Alloa academies, and their parents, can come to the schools on 7, 8 and 9 April respectively to seek advice, ask questions or get further information in relation to issues in the school environment; understands that these sessions will also be open to the parents of primary school pupils in the catchment areas of the academies; acknowledges the plan to provide safety advice and for parents and pupils to ask questions and seek advice on issues, and commends Police Scotland Forth Valley division, as well as PCs Scott Arundel and Jamie Reid, on what it sees as this excellent community safety and wellbeing-centred initiative.
