Congratulating Perth Parrots Floorball Club

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Perth Parrots floorball club on winning the Sport for Change award at the 2025 Perth and Kinross Sports Awards in recognition of its community engagement work, which has encouraged more LGBTQI+ people to take part in sport and physical activity; recognises that the club has worked closely with LGBTQI+ school groups to host an inter-school floorball competition and recently purchased its own floorball rink; believes that it is the only known LGBTQI+ inclusive sports team in Perth and Kinross, providing LGBTQI+ people, and their allies, with a safe space to participate in competitive sport, and wishes the club every success for their future.
