City Building Supports Over 50 Charities Across Glasgow

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates City Building (Glasgow) LLP on what it sees as its outstanding commitment to supporting local communities across Glasgow; understands that the organisation has significantly increased its charitable contributions, donating nearly £60,000 to charities in the past year, a 55% rise from the previous year; commends City Building for its dedication to supporting 52 communities, a 62% increase compared to the previous 12 months; acknowledges the impressive employee-led fundraising efforts, which, it understands, have surged by 85% to £24,000; notes the additional contributions of £17,500 through supply chain partnerships and the £6,650 provided by the Joint Trade Union Committee (JTUC) to various community initiatives; welcomes City Building’s support for apprenticeship projects and its provision of £10,000 worth of white goods to vulnerable citizens in Glasgow; recognises its extensive support of charities including Alzheimer Scotland, Breast Cancer Now, and Cash for Kids; commends the active participation of City Building employees in fundraising challenges such as the Kiltwalk and Race for Life, and congratulates City Building on its continued commitment to enhancing social impact and delivering positive change across Glasgow.
