Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust Super Sundays

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust (GVVT) for opening its Bridgeton Bus Garage to the public for its Super Sunday events throughout 2025; recognises the GVVT for its contribution to the preservation of Scotland’s transport heritage; acknowledges the dedication of its volunteers in maintaining and restoring over 140 historic buses, coaches, fire engines and commercial vehicles; understands the importance of events such as the GVVT Super Sundays in providing the public with an opportunity to explore and appreciate these iconic vehicles; notes the upcoming Super Sunday events on 6 April, 4 May, 1 June, 6 July and 7 September 2025, which will offer themed experiences, including celebrations of motorbikes, vintage buses, comic culture, classic cars and emergency service vehicles; commends the GVVT for its efforts in promoting community engagement, tourism and cultural heritage, and wishes all involved continued success in their future endeavours.
