Kirkwall Grammar School's S3 Netball Team's Victory Against Strathallan at the Final of Scottish School's Cup

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kirkwall Grammar School’s (KGS) S3 netball team on its48-47 victory against Strathallan in the final of the Scottish School’s Cup,played at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow on 28 March 2025; acknowledges that theresult was close and the girls fought incredibly hard against tough and skilledopponents; commends in particular, Rosa Leonard, on captaining the KGS team tosuccess and Hollie Cromarty, who was awarded Player of the Match; recognisesthat Kirkwall Grammar School’s S3 netball team’s victory is the latest in longline of success enjoyed by KGS and Orkney’s young netballers over recent years;acknowledges the commitment, hard work and dedication of the players, coachesand parents; thanks the team for being excellent ambassadors for Orkney, andwishes them all the best for further success in the future.
