Diversity and Inclusion Champion
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates 19-year-old Faith Montgomery from Kilmarnock on being awarded the Diversity and Inclusion Champion at the East Ayrshire Youth Awards; understands that Faith, who has cerebral palsy and is in chronic pain daily, has overcome multiple barriers and is an advocate for disabilities and mental health, taking a personal approach and speaking to other young people about their experiences; notes that Faith is at college studying social sciences, after which she aspires to be a psychologist in order to help others, and considers that Faith is a fantastic ambassador for the community and has a glowing personality.
