Kirkintilloch’s Stitch the Gap Awarded £123,267 in National Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Stitch the Gap on being awarded £123,267 in National Lottery Funding; understands that Stitch the Gap is a Social Enterprise Company, which teaches sewing machine skills through classes that run weekly within Milngavie and Kirkintilloch; understands that the group will use this funding to run free sewing sessions on a weekly basis throughout the funding period; acknowledges that classes will cater for 10 to 15 individuals at a time, providing an intensive and supportive experience, and wishes the group every success with the programme.
