R Wilson & Son Decorators Wins National Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates R Wilson & Son Decorators, from Rutherglen, on being awarded the New Build Commercial Project of the Year by the Scottish Decorators Federation for its work on the new Parkhead Health Centre; notes that R Wilson & Son is a family-run painting and decorating company with a history that spans three generations, after being established in 1938; understands that, with nearly 87 years of experience, the company is known for its expert craftsmanship, including its work on specialist wallcoverings and coatings; notes that the company employs a skilled team of over 16 painters and is committed to fostering the next generation by taking on apprentices each year, and wishes the company all the best for its continued success.
