Bearsden Fitness Teacher Raises £24,000 for Cancer Charity

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Vicki Houston of Bearsden for raising £24,000 towards Beatson Cancer Charity, in memory of her mother, Isabel, who lost her life to cancer; understands that Vicki was further inspired by cancer survivors who attended her fitness classes; recognises that Beatson Cancer Charity has done excellent work in supporting those diagnosed with cancer and their families, by offering a range of services such as complementary therapies, specialist health and work support, as well as specialist activities delivered by charity staff and volunteers, and wishes Vicki success for the future.
