Welcoming the Opening of the Barista Bar at Bothwellpark High School

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the opening of the Barista Bar on the campus of Bothwellpark High School, which allows pupils, staff and the local community to enjoy fresh coffee and tasty treats; acknowledges that the initiative creates a welcoming space for pupils to relax, while also providing them with opportunities to develop valuable customer service and hospitality skills; recognises that this initiative is part of the school’s broader commitment to supporting workplace skills and career development through the Developing the Young Workforce programme; commends Bothwellpark High School for its dedication to enhancing the learning experiences of pupils with additional support needs, and congratulates all those involved in making this project a success, which will have a positive impact on the pupils and the wider community.
