Holy Cross High School Raises Funds for SCIAF Wee Box Appeal

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the pupils and staff at Holy Cross High School in Hamilton, who took part in "The Big Lenten Walk" to raise funds for the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF); understands that over 700 S1 to S3 pupils took part in 2025's SCIAF Wee Box Appeal, walking a distance equivalent to that from Scotland to Vatican City; further understands that these funds will go towards SCIAF's focus this year, which is on emergency relief and peace-building projects in Choco, which is reportedly the poorest and most violent part of Colombia, and commends the efforts made by the entire school community.
