International Workers' Memorial Day 2025
The motion
That the Parliament notes that International Workers' Memorial Day 2025 will be marked on 28 April; understands that, on this day, people in Scotland join with people around the world in mourning the loss experienced by families and friends when someone fails to return from work, and notes, in particular, the contribution of Louise Adamson through her work with, and ongoing support for, Scottish Hazards and Families Against Corporate Killing (FACK) in raising awareness of the impact on workers and families of poor health and safety, and in remembering her brother Michael Adamson, who is one of the victims who tragically never came home, and her late mum, Pat Adamson.
