Minnie Simpson, Knitting for Ukraine
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the efforts of Minnie Simpson, a 93-year-old woman from Lochgelly, who has been knitting clothes to send to Ukraine since the start of the war; notes that, in 2025 alone, she has already sent 10 shawls to Ukraine, and welcomes the support that Minnie has received in her endeavours from both the Cowdenbeath-based knitting group at The Clearing and the Cowdenbeath Rotary Club.
